The ladies didn’t end the season on the high that they hoped for with a defeat away to Heath B.
Jo & Ellen took promotion to first pair in their stride and took all three of their games with ease. Unfortunately Al & Laura and Jayne & Sarah could not back up the girls performance and managed to secure only one further game.
Thus the night finished with a 5 – 4 defeat.
A shame this last match did not fully reflect the season the ladies have had – finishing higher in their division than would have been imaginable last season when we on most occasions couldn’t field a full team let alone have thoughts of winning matches :)
WELL DONE LADIES

Only a small write-up is needed as just two things need mentioning. Firstly we won a great match, and the league title was secured unbeaten. [Hurrah! Ed.]
Secondly we didn’t have a full team so Simon and Chris came in as subs. With three rubbers to go the score was level at 3-3 and Simon and Chris were up against the Llantrisant 1st pair. It didn’t bode well for them as our firsts and seconds had both been taken to three games against the same opponents earlier, Jack and Matt just losing out, Glyn and Martin just holding on (to their undefeated status – yeah yeah).
So… Simon and Chris decided to show everybody how things should be done and mopped up in two games! A 22 carat performance! Final score 6-3.
Thanks to everyone who played for the B’s this season, bloody good show.
